Sinful Colors - Purple Diamond

Sinful Colors has finally landed in Australia and are available from Priceline and Target.

This is Purple Diamond, a mauve pearl.  This is a pretty colour although it's a bit frosty and very sheer.

Beauty Bay Limited Edition Beauty in Demand Box

I was lucky enough to order one of these beauty in demand box's from Beauty Bay during their Advent Calendar promotion.  Apparently these sold out almost instantly.  I ordered on 14 Dec and it arrived here in Australia on 27 Dec which is pretty good considering all the public holidays during that time.

I received 5 products that I am very happy with and they arrived in a very nice box that has a magnetic closure and was tied with ribbon.

Zoya Gilty Trio

Zoya Gilty Trio

This was one of my Christmas presents. My husband bought this for my daughter to give to me. He's such a good thoughtful husband.

The 3 polishes come in a nice little gift box. They all have a really good formula and go on nicely and dry to a smooth finish.

Purity (white) - bright white, no shimmer
Raven (black) - shiny black with a very slight shimmer
18K Real Gold TopCoat - absolutely brilliant, the gold doesn't clump and spreads easily



I highly recommend getting these if you can. They're gorgeous and once you've got the gold topcoat you can layer it over any other colour that you want.

(These pics looked great and were nice and bright til I uploaded them to Blogger and now they look dull so I'm not sure what's going on there.  Think Blogger is having problems because it also won't let me upload any new photos).

NYE Nails 2012 - Loki's Lacquer 3 Wise Men

Happy New Year

This is what I wore last night for New Year's Eve.  I got an iPod Touch for Christmas so I was experimenting with taking photos on it and using the collage app.

This polish is called 3 Wise Men and is made by Aussie Indie brand, Loki's Lacquer.

3 Wise Men has gold squares, iridescent squares, brown glitter and ultra fine copper glitter.

I've layered it over Ulta3 Crystallina with an accent nail of Zoya Jules.

On the nail wheel I also tried it over Zoya Zara (3rd from left) Zoya Neeka (4th from left).

Some of my favourite pics

Here's a few of my favourite pics of my nails and some gorgeous polishes:

My nails at the moment are only about half of what they were in these pics but they grow quickly and the last pics were taken with the new camera so obviously they are better than the earlier ones.

I'm planning on getting back to posting regularly in the new year.

piCture pOlish - Cosmos by Pshiiit Boutique

This is a collaboration shade called Cosmos from piCture pOlish with Pshiiit Boutique.

It's a dark navy holographic.  Now you all know that I love my purples but lately the blues have been running a very close second but this one takes the prize.  I don't have anything else like it. It's just gorgeous and I was so happy when I received it and I can see myself wearing this again and again. I love this one because it's a true navy blue and not a black blue and of course for the holographic shimmer. 

Like the bottle says, "this one is totally out there! "

China Glaze Immortal & Revlon Whimsical

Most of you wouldn't have ever seen me with short nails so here we go.  I had a major break on my middle finger and even my husband said he can't ever remember seeing me with nails that short.

Thanks to Tara from Osiris and Loki Paint Their Nails who organised for a few of us here in Australia to get our hands on Revlon Whimsical as it's not available in Australia.

I thought I'd be a bit different and layer Whimsical over something darker rather than try to match it with a lighter colour.  I chose China Glaze Immortal as it has that lovely blue shimmer in it so I thought it would go well with Whimsical.

I had trouble photographing Whimsical as the camera couldn't focus properly but at least you can see the tiny blue glitters against the grey of Immortal.
